To you [Apr. 29th, 2006|06:43 pm]
"Yes, you're right. We should never have been in this situation in the first place. But we are, and it's no one's fault. So now you just need to put on a fake smile and go out there and figure something out. Because everyone looks up to you. You can't get frusterated and upset in front of everyone. If you need to talk, pull someone aside. So let's just do this. Just put on the fake smile, and let's go get this done."

Yes. The story of my life.

Where did you go,
Oh fluttering fools?
With wings as rainbows
And mouths as tools.

The tingle deep within
Has long since expired;
That tickle I longed for
And beauty admired.

Where did you go,
Oh fluttering fools?
With wings as rainbows
And mouths as tools.

And where were you when I needed you?
Where were all of you?
Your guilty faces show no sign of remorse.

And where were you?!
When the tears burned,
When the screams became inaudible

In the lowest of days you're nowhere.
Vanished into the "I do's" and promises
with no intention of returning.

I called out to someone, anyone.
Someone to notice me
To tell me it'll be alright.

When you call for me, I'll be by your side
Promising you the world,
Forgetting your mistakes; your neglegence.

And the day when your promises become true
and the tears become soothing,
There I'll be...without you.

Reflection thingme [Dec. 31st, 2005|05:46 pm]
[Current Mood | bored]
[Current Music |Hanson]

January 2005: ahhhh I can't believe I have to go to school again tomorrow. This blows.

February 2005: My computer is broken. I'm still sick.

March 2005: Tonight's discussion at the dinner table:
Me: "Mom, pull my finger"
Mom: "I'm not pulling your finger, how old are you?"
Mom: "What has dinner come to?"

April 2005: I worked 12 hours today. That was crazy, and I'm pooped. I hope everyone had a good spring break, I'm really not looking forward to going back to school. At least we only have 2 months left.

May 2005: I suck.

June 2005:I'm the most insecure person I know.

July 2005: Funny story:
So Sunday was the first SAC car wash of the summer.

August 2005: He's soooooo cute... (that would be my brother)

September 2005: Crap. I don't know what to do anymore. School starts in 4 days and I still have to read 500+ pages of The Fountainhead.

October 2005:Let it be, let it be
Whisper words of wisdom
Let it be

November 2005: For some, music is not just a pastime,
It's and undeniable fact of living,
A blissful Slavery of mind, body and soul.

December 2005: The average person only gets 7 right

Ok, so I haven't really been writing in this thing as much. Moral of the story: 2005 was not very kind to me. The summer of 2005 got better, but the school year was the worst yet. Here's hoping 2006 will bring me better things.

Happy New Year!!!!!

I was bored...and I got 14!!!!! [Dec. 26th, 2005|03:33 pm]
The average person only gets 7 right.

This is based on U.S. info, so use all lobes of your brain. This can be more difficult than it looks - it just shows how little most of us really see!

There are 25 questions about things we see every day or have
known about all our lives. How many can you get right?
These little simple questions are harder than you think-- it just
shows you how little we pay attention to the commonplace
things of life.

Put your thinking caps on. No cheating! No looking around! No
getting out of your chair! No using anything on or in your desk or
computer!

Can you beat 20?? It is nearly impossible for any normal person to get higher than a 20 (The average is 7). Write down your answers and check answers (on the bottom) AFTER completing all t he questions.

REMEMBER - NO CHEATING!!! BE HONEST!!! That means no looking at your phone or anything on your desk...

Then, before you repost this, change the number on the subject line to show how many you got correct.

LET'S JUST SEE HOW OBSERVANT YOU REALLY ARE. - If not, just
have fun!

Here we go!

1. On a standard traffic light, is the green on the top or bottom?

2. How many states are there in the USA? (Don't laugh, some
people don't know)

3. In which hand is the Statue of Liberty's torch?

4. What six colors are on the classic Campbell's soup label?

5. What two numbers on the telephone dial don't have letters by
them?

6. When you walk does your left arm swing with your right or left
leg? (Don't you dare get up to see!)

7. How many matches are in a standard pack?

8. On the United States flag is the top stripe red or white?

9. What is the lowest number on the FM dial?

10. Which way does water go down the drain, counter or clockwise?

11. Which way does a "no smoking" sign's slash run?

12. How many channels on a VHF TV dial?

13. On which side of a women's blouse are the buttons?

14. Which way do fans rotate?

15. How many sides does a stop sign have?

16. Do books have even-numbered pages on the right or left
side?

17. How many lug nuts are on a standard car wheel?

18. How many sides are there on a standard pencil?

19. Sleepy, Happy, Sneezy, Grumpy, Dopey, Doc. Who's missing?

20. How many hot dog buns are in a standard package?

21. On which playing card is the card maker's trademark?

22. On which side of a Venetian blind is the cord that adjusts
the opening between the slats?

Measure your life in love. [Nov. 27th, 2005|01:06 am]
[Current Mood | nostalgic]
[Current Music |Rent]

There are a few things in my life that I can't live without...RENT is definitely one of them.

P.S - Don't call it a movie, because it's not. It's a broadway show...so call it a show :)

Don't we all wish we could be like Angel?

Rock 'N' Roll Razorblade [Nov. 19th, 2005|10:36 pm]
[Current Mood | Proud]
[Current Music |Hanson]

For some, music is not just a pastime,
It's and undeniable fact of living,
A blissful Slavery of mind, body and soul.
To rise above the ashes of mediocrity is rare,
Yet the gift of song is freely handed out to anyone who cares to receive it,
Instantly shattering our daily drudgery.

The path to pursue more than the usual,
More than what is safe and known,
Is wrought with time-sharpened jagged blade that cut deep,
Blocking many from the raod to something greater,
Beyond the stunted inagination of their peers.

Within the veins of the few,
Passion fills every sinew with a sweet unquenchable purpose,
Calming the fear of those treacherous paths.
Though each slice burns and bleeds,
Still they take each cut
And wear the scars with pride to signal their choice,
That undying pursuit of greater joy within every chord.

And so they say - Watch Me Bleed

the goal of living is to grow)
forgetting why,remember how

in time of lilacs who proclaim
the aim of waking is to dream,
remember so(forgetting seem)

in time of roses(who amaze
our now and here with paradise)
forgetting if,remember yes

in time of all sweet things beyond
whatever mind may comprehend,
remember seek(forgetting find)

and in a mystery to be
(when time from time shall set us free)
forgetting me,remember me

Crap. I don't know what to do anymore. School starts in 4 days and I still have to read 500+ pages of The Fountainhead. My room is a mess. I have to apply to a school that I don't even want to go to. I don't want to go to any school, I hate school. I barely know what the heck music therapy is...and I "know that's what I want to go in to"? Boo. I wish I lived in England or something. That way maybe I would be born into royalty or something and never have to go to school. I dunno what i want to do with my life. What I WANT to do is realistically impossible. I have to go to college, I have to get a good job to support myself. But I don't want tooooo. Poop. Oh well.

I'm done.
